Medcan Pharma

Frontier has signed a letter of intent to acquire Medcan. As part of this acquisition, Frontier will create a distribution channel into pharmacies focused on wellness through CBD. This relationship will allow us to efficiently distribute medicinal cannabinoid products, while bypassing the typical B2B and marketing pains commonly experienced when entering new cannabinoid markets.

Medcan Pharma

  • Medcan has a relationship with a leading Pharma distributor with access to over 22,000 pharmacies through a national network of representatives
  • Medcan will develop a suite of cannabinoid related products to be distributed across the country
    • Starting with four products targeting specific markets: inflammation, sleep aid, menstrual, and intimacy
  • The initiative is a result of the demand for medical grade CBD products and will include a consumer focus group working with Pharmacists
  • Medcan CBD products will be the first and only products available in pharmacies across Spain that are fully transparent about the amount of CBD in the product
    • Currently, there are “Cannabis sativa” and “hemp” derived products available, but none specify how much CBD is in each product
    • CBD products to improve the quality of life (pain creams, etc.) distributed through pharmacies

Distribution Strategy

  • Medcan, in conjunction with a distributer, has developed a marketing plan to launch and support its suite of products across Spain
